APRIL is an international platform practicing architecture, design, media installations, video productions, strategic planning and research.
The studio, based in Milan and Geneva, is structured into a professional architecture firm and a research-based company providing consultancy in the fields of design, media installations, video productions and cultural analysis. Established in 2001 and formed by a group of international professionals, APRIL can develop advanced projects and realize complex ideas through a simultaneous engagement in both, practice and research.
APRIL employs a staff of various nationalities and expertise. Architects, industrial and graphic designers, researchers, video makers and economists work in close collaboration, and all experts are involved from the very beginning of the design process. APRIL’s research-based work aims to feed architecture with intelligence gleaned from this array of disciplines.
