Vallvé - company history
1962 - J. Vallvé creates the company Nacroplex. Objects of decoration, modern knobs and handles in scintillating resin with mother-of-pearl reflections.
1978 - Opening of the first store, the “Cristal Banho” - reference in bathroom Project of the time. Launch of collections of accessories, furniture, seats and other pieces always innovating in design and material.
The 90's - Vallvé reaches the lead in Brazilian luxury accessories market for bathrooms. Pedro Sedó, J. Vallvé’s son, assumes the direction of the company. Beginning of imports, with Vallvé in full national expansion: SP: D & D and Jardins, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Rio De Janeiro, Salvador, Maceió, Vitória and Manaus. Change of factory to Cotia to meet new demand.
2003 - Vallvé is recognized as the best company in the sector, receiving for the consecutive years the Top of Mind - Casa & Mercado prize, in the segment: “Boutique de Banho”(Bathroom Boutique).
2004 - Vallvé opens two licensed stores in the United States and is in the news in the New York Times.

In 1962, Josep Maria Sedó Vallvé rented an ordinary shed in São Paulo. At that time, the resin that was only used as a component for the manufacture of fiberglass products, was put in focus by Vallvé. As a magician, he begins his alchemy by mixing resin with metal, wood and acrylic, acrylic and metal. The aesthetics of the material begins to be explored far beyond technical performance.
