The mission of Opstalt is to deliver elegant Scandinavian furniture design for HiFi equipment. The goal is to offer furniture for TV-sets, sound systems and other HIFI.
In the old days the television was an elegant piece of furniture. An alter towards which the living room oriented itself, like the fireplace before it. But as screens got larger, flatter and cheaper, they moved from the floor, to a TV-table, to the wall.
This is where the idea for OP1 came from. The need for a piece of tv-furniture that could once again be moved and take a place in the living room as a beautiful piece of furniture.
