ZENO

ZENO is an architecture firm based on the partnership of two young architects, Andrea Zecchetti and Francesco Nobili. The multi-disciplinary approach on the different scale of the project is the corner stone of our research, with focus especially on architectural reuse as a re-interpretation of the historical layering. Each project is therefore an opportunity to inquire the relationship between new and pre-existent, trying not to crystallize the ancient and not to hand over the project to the timelessness of contemporary. We actively participates in several national and international architectural competition. Our work has been awarded with the 1st prize for "Europan 12, Witteneberge (DE)", with the project "Re-Hub Wittenberge, Health, Wellness and Food" for the redevelopment of industrial areas on the Elbe, and the 1st prize in the competition for Fondazione Fiera Milano "Make Your Mark in Milan", with the project "Palinsesto" for the reuse of pavilion 1 and 2 of Fiera Milano City; finalist to “Premio Federico Maggia 2015, Industrial landscape”.
