Cacti is a design and architectural practice office especially interested in architectural, interior, and landscape projects in Alaçatı, across the Aegean region, and in Istanbul.

Cacti mostly focuses on rural and seaside architecture and living. It’s a powerful motivation source to create inspiring spaces by uniting the needs and advantages of rural and seaside living and those of the modern living and technology with an intellectual approach.

Cacti was established in 2005 by Gürcan Dere in Alacati-Cesme, which is a small town near the city of Izmir, famous for its architecture, vineyards, and its history. To date, Cacti has delivered many projects in different scales and with various content. One of Cacti’s most important features is that it serves as a one-stop solution partner offering all design and construction services throughout the projects it undertakes. Cacti also offers project management services identifying the most suitable business model for each unique project in order to maintain the best end result.

Cacti’s journey, which has started with the exterior project of a hotel in Alacati, continues with a combined interior and landscape architecture vision, building design concepts, and improving business experiences.
