From the friendship between a carpenter and an architect and the common passion for beauty (and for working), takes life L'1with the intent to bring industrial design closer to customers' needs, tastes and expectations.
“L’1” (the one, in italian) is opposite to “the others”, that is the kind of design which, for industrial production needs, imposes itself too much on the formal and dimensional level; craft design is our creative response to industrial design.
Formal research and tailored execution, generate quality artifacts, proposed with a dress always adaptable to customers’ demands.
L'1's products are open projects; guidelines to start personalizing the objects that we like to have on our side.
The handicraft production ensures almost total flexibility, allowing to always modify finishes and, in some cases, even dimentions.
Because if the idea is good, succeeds regardless of its appearance.
