Knol

KNOL is an Amsterdam based design studio with a good sense of fiction. All our projects take you along in a storyworld and offer a curious perspective on our daily society. These ‘stories’ are expressed in playful interiors, (light) installations and food experiences. The core of the studio consists of Celine de Waal Malefijt and Jorien Kemerink. Studio KNOL was founded in 2006, and has realized a wide range of projects since then. In creating our stories, KNOL collaborates with a large number of freelancers varying from builders, architects and urban planners, to cooks, programmers, and scientists.
