Holz Elf is the name of a creative workshop, located in the heart of Bavaria at Roeckersbuehl, between Nuremberg and Regensburg. Since its foundation in 2011 this has been where ideas are translated into reality: giving mighty old trees a further life through transforming them into unrivalled specimens of manual craft.
The result is always something unique. Table, stool or bowl – we have created every piece ourselves, working on it with our own hands, handling it with loving care, and working to the highest levels of quality. Creations, fabricated from solid tree trunks, are manufactured without any glue. The surfaces are treated exclusively with natural oil. Most of the timber used comes from local oaks. However, used are only trees that have either already been cut or are at risk of falling.
