georgmuehlmann is actually Georg Mühlmann. Today his name is closely linked to furniture design and design furniture. Georg Mühlmann began his activity with great success as an expert wood engraver but was soon drawn into carpentry. Thanks to his eye for proportion and aesthetics, as well as the noble material itself, wood, harmonious objects are created from refined design. A characteristic trait of his is to combine different materials giving each of his objects a specific charm. The accurate work done on the materials satisfy the highest demands. The aesthetic value of each piece has an important role which, however, does not compromise the practicality of each piece. Today Georg Mühlmann works in his design laboratory in San Genesio, a village overlooking the town of Bolzano, in the heart of Alto Adige.
