Nestled in the heart of the Riviera, in Monaco, a team of craftsmen design furniture for Sérénité. This designer and manufacturer of high-end outdoor furniture chose to locate its headquarters in the heart of the Principality of Monaco where business could flourish serenely.

Launched in 2006 and specialized in the import and export of outdoor furniture, Sérénité, the company founded by Laurent Chagnard, grew quickly.

"In the early days I had to travel the world to select the most reliable suppliers and most able craftsmen so as to offer only the best from the trade, it was a period when competition was huge."

Following these encounters and his analysis of the market, Laurent decides to start in 2008 his own brand - Sérénité. Self-taught designer, Laurent trades his skills of businessman to the drawing board and creates his first furniture collections such as Provence, Porto Vecchio - Saint Barth and also Santa Monica photovoltaic which won the French design award “Observeur du design 2012”. Climbing the ladder; furnishing first 3-star establishments, then 4-star, then 5-star, the need for a technical team became obvious.

Finally in 2009, facing growing demand and expansion of his brand, Laurent decides to open the doors of his studio to new recruits. That is when he meets Maxime Dumarchey, designer, with whom he will develop a great complicity. Full of ideas and maintaining the artistic focus of his brand, Laurent realizes the importance of nurturing a unique creative know-how. Together, they develop an innovative, custom-made design service, and also continue to create new collections.

The efforts of the brand were quickly rewarded, after being nominated to the grand prix of “luxe et création française”, Sérénité is recognized by the French government as a luxury furniture designer and manufacturer honoring French customs.
