SibillAssociati srl is a professional partnership set up in 1992. Though not a long established firm, it does represent the natural evolution of a professional practice going back three generations. The Firm’s main activities are in the architectural, urban and environmental design fields and reflect years of experience by its partners. There are four partners and each of them, during qualification and practice, has developed skills and acquired experience in fields of specialisation that complement one another. Angelo Sibilla is an expert in design and works direction, Antonio Sibilla in urban and environmental planning and works direction, Stefano Sibilla in architectural design and bioecological architecture, Maria Adele Sibilla in Interior design. The Firm has its own team of designers and surveyors, all of whom were working with the partners before it was actually set up. The partners and the staff have been able to acquire valuable experience and career qualification. At the same time, the partners’ contacts in the academic world allow them valuable scientific consulting in support of the quality of the Firm’s design services. The Firm is organised in such a way that its main strengths - quality, flexibility and speed of response - can be brought to bear on even the most complex design problems. SibillAssociati srl also provides design for public administrations. To this end it has developed specially integrated design procedures (architectural, structural, technical plant, etc.) and has an ISO 9001 quality system in place. In this connection it has working agreements with Milan-based engineering firms Ce.A.S. Centro di Analisi Strutturale and SERIN Servizi Tecnici per la Ricerca e l’Industria. The Firm’s QUALITY SYSTEM was certified by RINA (Registro Navale Italiano) on December 15, 1997 and conforms to UNI EN ISO 9001 (Certificate n° 943/97 – Expiring date 12/2003). The Firm has undertaken many restoration and conversion projects involving buildings of particular architectural value and where it was vital to achieve successful integration between existing structures, extensions to them and new functional identities. This experience has been supported by decades of work in the fields of sanitation and research.
