Ciel Rouge Creation

The birth of Ciel Rouge (Red Sky) was the result of a shared passion for this place. Fumiko Kaneko, who also received an artistic education, was able to identify closely with these ideas. She belonged to a town planning group at the Maison Franco-Japonaise in Tokyo and was a development counselor for the communities of Choshi and Higashino, but also found time to spread an understanding of these viewpoints among the Japanese. Their collaboration has proved itself in projects such as housing, schools, design and town planning in Japan, France, Korea and China; their concepts have been perfected from complementary viewpoints based on the extremes of earth and sky, always with the image of space at the centre resembling a landscape.
