The processes and technologies used by Enrico Cassina

Hot forging technology has replaced the traditional metal casting process, since it allows producing more consistent and higher quality objects. In addition, through PVD, or molecular deposition process in high vacuum conditions and at high temperatures, gives the products extreme resistance to chemical agents and meteorological elements, as well as unlimited resistance to oxidation and scratch-proof properties that are 4 times greater than those achieved by standard galvanized coatings. Among other processes the company also employs the lost wax casting process, d for the creation of noble metal objects featuring extremely complex shapes and very accurate details, but also the bush hammering to corrugate a full brass surface, and finelly the chiselling as some decorative details still require the expert hand of the Master Chiseller, who refines and enhances the smallest details, thus producing a true, unique and immediately recognizable “art piece”.
