Akis Charalambous was born in Nicosia in 1944. He began his studies in Milan in 1963 where he attained the Architects Diploma (Dottore in Architettura). During his studies he worked with the highly acclaimed Architectural Practice ‘Belgiojoso-Peressuti-Rogers’ (BBPR) and once he received his Diploma worked as Professor Belgiojoso’s assistant.
