Got plans for the last weekend of May? Whatever they are, change them because you won’t want to miss this year’s Dwell on Design LA, America’s largest design event! 3 days to see innovative products, listen to talks from industry leaders, and connect with experts in the design world. The event is curated by the editors of Dwell magazine, who have honed a keen eye for selecting and bringing together the very best in modern design, all under one roof.

Marcel Wanders will be gracing the event as this year’s keynote speaker. The internationally acclaimed design icon and founder/artistic director of Moooi  has chosen Dwell on Design as a platform to discuss his personal interpretation of functionalism along with his ongoing pursuit to “make real things, not just conceptual objects”. Wanders is best known for his distinctive design style which gave rise to a number of emblematic pieces for brands like Flos, B&B Italia, and Magis.

An integral and compelling part of the event are the Dwell Home Tours, events which allow design addicts to discover gorgeous private homes selected by Dwell as beacons of innovation and style in modern design. These self-guided tours are a pleasant, relaxing way to get an up-close look at the best LA has to offer.

The show will allow visitors to experience prefab homes in a profound way with a presentation by architects who will present  the homes featured on the Dwell on Design show floor. The most recent industry developments will also be discussed along with improvements in sustainability.

Design lovers won’t want to miss this unparalleled opportunity to get in-depth insights on what’s new and trending in the design world. And this year’s show is sure to wow!

Dwell on Design will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from May 29th-31st. Visit www.dwellondesign.com for more info and to find out how to register for the event.
