Current and future standards require that we implement solutions deriving mostly from technology. These technologies will need to be smartly integrated into urban spaces whilst also taking into account the use we will make of the spaces.

Therefore buildings are more than ever at the heart of our concerns, whether they be for a professional, a public or a private use.

All these innovations offer numerous advantages to reduce management costs. Buildings are now more energy-friendly, have a reduced environmental impact, a longer lifecycle and provide a healthier work environment. We are relying more and more on instruments, self-run equipment, energy management and saving, collective renewable energy solutions… so that buildings can integrate better in and communicate better with neighbourhoods, cities and, more generally, town planning.

The Innovative Building Expo will take place from April 8 to 10, 2014 in Paris Porte de Versailles, for the 4th year running, giving exhibitors the chance to meet decision-makers and opinion leaders.

The conferences proposed at the Fair will showcase best-practices relating to renovation, construction, measurement, metering, energy management and saving and energy production.
