Zona Santambrogio is the newborn design district in Milan the city: promoting the area to build a new system of relations. Zona Santambrogio is a large mapping and a network of stories, tales and relations based on cooperation.
Products, services, and materials: three key words and three macro areas that are presented at the Milan Fuorisalone in the new design district headquarters and exhibition area DO UT DESIGN, Via San Vittore 49, Milan. From products to services, from digital to handicraft, from self-production to innovative startups, the non-profit business to enterprises. Innovation has many sides to it, and today more than ever, manifests itself in various fields: the changes in our world depend on the synergy between these different realities, through habits, products and processes, the key word is contamination: big ideas are for curious minds!
The work and the production of the designers involved, indeed, ranges from functionality to know-how, in the fields of craft and self-production, in small series, in studying new materials and instruments, but also in the innovative and useful services to the person. These are the values of this year's event DO UT DESIGN 2014. The designers involved present their items but above all express themselves by sharing manufacturing techniques, thus overcoming the concept of exhibition space and turning it into a synergistic place of fruition.

However design isn't everything, and if you're feeling peckish you can visit M'ama Food to taste delicious Italian rivisitations of recipes from all over the world.
This workshop for food permeable to creativity and transformation you can also experience new food concepts, created by the all female team of chefs from the project “M'AMA Food - catering dal mondo that works with female political refugees. A project of the cooperative Farsi Prossimo.
The kitchen of San Vittore 49, a large space of ideas in perfect osmosis with the exhibition area and in the attractive garden. You will have no problem imagining this space like all home kitchens: a beating heart where creativity will be served at the table. Every day you can enjoy the dishes for brunch and aperitifs immersed in the beautiful old garden.
