The new single family villa on the banks of the Danube designed by the Viennese office Share Architects is called Bathing.
The entrance to this “micro villa” is by way of an external staircase running along the side of the house, which goes down to the port on the river bank from the access on the road.
This outdoor space has been designed following the shape of a marina mooring for boats, whose decking has been made entirely of wooden strips.
The interior consists of a double-high space on the ground floor which contains the kitchen and living room, while the partially suspended upper floor contains the bedroom and a bathroom. The living room seamlessly connects with the outside through a system of sliding glass windows.
The structure is made of reinforced concrete, whose façade and roof are both clad with white aluminium composite panels on the outside.
