The office of MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects has designed the Chinguacousy Park Redevelopment, located in Brampton, Canada, in order to transform the urban park into a sequence of indoor and outdoor spaces, for recreational and sporting activities.

Each volume belonging to the new built complex is equipped with terraces and cantilevered roofs whose views dominate the park.

The services, designed by the Canadian office to modernize existing equipment, includes skiing slopes and a skateboarding park, volleyball courts, tennis courts and a new Boat Pavilion to exploit the stream that runs through the park.

The result is a true multi-purpose sports centre. The new equipment has been integrated into the natural landscape by creating a series of pedestrian and cycle paths.
