The major players of Milan Design Week also include the architect Matteo Thun, who presents his latest collections, made for famous design brands including Object Carpet, Baxter, Artemide, Geberit and LaCividina, both inside and outside the Salone del Mobile.

Matteo Thun, who has received numerous awards and honours, including the Compasso d'Oro that the architect from Bolzano has received three times, helps to enrich the series of new products and previews in the 52nd edition of the Salone del Mobile.

From 9th April until Sunday April 14th Object Carpet's stand, inside Salone Ufficio, hosts a collection of rugs for the contract sector called “Hotel Palazzi”, which Thun designed with Antonio Rodriguez.

This new complete wc solution by Geberit with an essential design has been designed to adapt to any bathroom environment.

In via Monte Napoleone there is an open air exhibition curated by Alessandro Cocchieri, in which the prototype made for the armchair “Aria” for LaCividina brand can be seen. It is a seat that harnesses the potential steel and leather, tailored with a diamond pattern.

On Tuesday 9th at 5.30 pm the book edited by Hatje Cantz, entitled “Matteo Thun. The Index Book” dedicated to the work and career of Thun will be presented at the Galleria Carla Sozzani.
