LEAF International 2013 has launched LEAF Interior Design Awards. The LEAF Interiors Design Awards will be an integral part of the LEAF International Forum. The winners will be announced on 18th October, 2013 in Berlin.
Interior architects and interior designers will submit their best projects for the following categories:
Sustainable Interior design of the year
This award focuses on the incorporation of sustainably sourced products and materials that complement the overall design and ensure minimal environmental impact without compromising the aesthetics of a great interior.
Best use of space award
This category will recognise excellent use of interior space within a building which best enhances the function, feel, and purpose of the design.
Hospitality building of the year
This award is to celebrate the interior design of any hospitality project. Whether it be a hotel, a restaurant, or a bar it will be assessed on the merits of all aspects of interior design within that project.
Energy efficient design of the year
Taking into account all phases from installation to completion, product use and innovation, this award recognises the maximisation of energy efficient interior design & building.
Residential building of the year
This award will recognise the use of interior design of any large residential project.
Public (Sport , Culture, Health)
This award will recognise the use of interior design in keeping with the whole building of any public project, be it a sports facility, museum, hospital, education or other project.
Commercial building of the year
This final category looks at any commercial (office/retail/corporate) building and its interior use of space and design.

All works must be completed between January 2011 and May 2013. The deadline for entries by 10 June 2013 and for materials by 17 June 2013.
