CL:OC installation shown for the first time as part of the passegen off-site program of imm cologne 2013 which runs until January 20th.
It is part of the Kölner Interior Design Week, which gives several galleries, design companies, furniture stores and museums the possibility to participate in the Interior-Design-Discours.
Grosse8 was already able to capture the audience at Passagen 2010 with their installation Augmented Sculpture.
CL:OC is a kinetic installation. With elegant and artful movements it allows the spectator to literally watch time go by. The seemingly floating fluorescent tubes show abstract designs and form digital numbers every minute. The sculpture is powered by 28 motors.
