The El Palauet Living Barcelona hotel has recently been opened. It is a new concept of accommodation that combines the modernist tradition with all the contemporary luxuries and conveniences.

The boutique hotel, made up of 6 suites, each one of which is 150 square meters, for a maximum of 4 people, is located at number 113 of Paseo de Gracia, in a building designed in 1906 by Pere Falqués and that is an excellent example of Catalan Modernism.

The large residential buildings in Barcelona in the twentieth century have been constructed by builders and architects who have worked closely with craftsmen (carpenters, stucco workers, glass experts and decorative painters) who formed the essence of the creative and surprising style that we all know as Modernism.

The concept at the base of El Palauet has been developed from the respect and the restoration of the original features, but adapting to the materials and the innovative technologies of the 21st century that evoke the precise and accurate shape of Catalan Modernism. The ensuing result can be defined as a contemporary Modernism.
