Belongs in fact to one of the fathers of architectural and industrial design of the last century, Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe the dictat "less is more" taken by Steve Jobs ... and very modern today, more than ever!

"The interior minimalism continues to adhere to the principle supported by German designer both if it contains furniture or design of the fifties or older pieces.

If there is still the assumption that the room should contain less objects (and variants), today minimalism can also mean a good use of color and occasional flower pattern which that sign the effect of an interior reduced to the essential. A minimal scheme gets so an immediate visual impact even without many things."

(taken from "Modern Living: guide to the contemporary home" of Richard Powers)
