The Palm Springs Modernism week's #ModernismProject has announced the second winner of its #ModernismProject challenge. Two weeks ago Archilovers judged the winning Instagram photograph for the theme of #Architecture, awarded to Yutsai Wang, and this week Jaime Derringer of Design Milk has chosen Sergio Rivatillan's photograph of the exterior wall of Pepsi’s Durango, Mexico offices and distribution center, which in her words “recalls the elaborate geometric screen on the walls of many mid-century homes”. Sergio wins a pair of tickets to the Modernism Week Home Tour. Well done! Once again the judge had a difficult task choosing the winner from all the entries, we at Archilovers know the difficulties well as we mentioned in our story at the time.
The #ModernismProject is a mobile initiative encouraging the global community of modernism fans to express visually what modernism means to them.
The next contest will be announced in a week's time and the guest judge this time will be professional photographer Jason Hudson.
