STONESCAPE, the imaginative installation by the Japanese master Kengo Kuma realized in cooperation with Il Casone, Agape e Mapei, will open its doors at the Ex Ospedale dei Bastardini, in Bologna, from 25 to 29 September. The event is part of Bologna Water Design, the 'post-expo' exhibition taking place in the same days as Cersaie, proposing design dedicated to water and outdoor spaces. A journey of excellence which will involve Bologna's most prestigious locations.

Il Casone, Agape e Mapei chose the poetics and the creativity of Kengo Kuma to test their own innovation ability.

Water shapes space in curved and convex lines. It draws liquid shapes transforming opaque into bright surfaces, and inviting visitors to skim them. The watery mirror, carved into sandstone Pietra Serena, is a magic picture of big baths and washbasins, becoming soft and elegant domestic sculptures.
