Stacie is an intern architect with the Ontario Association of Architects. She graduated from the School of Architecture, McGill University in 2008 and the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, University of Toronto in 2012. For her graduate thesis in conjunction with RAD, the Responsive Architecture at Daniels laboratory, Stacie designed and constructed “Micro-Environment Gear”. Building on current research in wearable computing and self-monitoring health initiatives, Micro-Environment Gear merges the performance of medical gear with fashion’s affordance for self augmentation and personal expression. Micro-Environment Gear is currently being tested for a market demand. Stacie was previously employed with Cindy Rendely Architexture, where her experience comprised largely of the conception and realization of residential projects with a focus on materiality, craft and detailing. Stacie is a founding member of Studio Practice.
