Sigrid Strömgren (Sweden 1980), obtained a master degree in design (mfa) from the School of Design and Crafts (hdk) in Göthenburg and founded the studio Quiet Design in 2007. Her noise reductive table Silent Whisper (produced by Materia) is patented. Her work has generated much attention and has been awarded with the Grand Design Prize, the Red dot design award and the Swedish Sound Design Award Guldsyrsan. She has participated in several international fairs and exhibitions.
