By delving into architecture with almost no inhibitions across various facets of this discipline, I have been able to broaden and enhance my technical and creative knowledge, particularly through diverse and proactive collaborations as an independent professional on projects of varying scales and complexities.

Drawing strength from these experiences, all alternatives to this vocation were ruled out, and it is with this conviction that I founded SMA in 2010—a firm dedicated to architecture. Ours is an ethical architecture, not driven or fueled by lofty cultural aspirations, nor by any specific ideology or doctrine. We prioritize the architecture of attention over intention; all ideologies and their stylistic currents serve as an undeniable source of inspiration.

However, if a constant were to emerge from our reflections, it would undoubtedly be the perpetual quest for coordination between the inhabited, the projected space, and technical constraints. The aim is to achieve architectures and environments that embody contextual responses shaped around life, rather than the other way around.
