In her work, Ruxi is exploring the relation between local identity and contemporary design. She is focused on rediscovering the links with traditional crafts, in order to create simple objects that serve as a background for our everyday life. Ruxi takes her inspiration from various materials and from day to day necessities that call for practical, long lasting, yet beautiful objects. Her works have been featured in several exhibitions in Bucharest, Vienna, Milan and Stockholm.
