Rüdiger Lainer, born in Kaprun / Salzburg, is since 1985 freelance architect in Vienna. 1997 appointment as professor for architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, teaching until 2006. Member of the advisory board for estate in Vienna (1999-2002), Lainer was chairman of the advisory board for urban design in Salzburg, Linz and Krems.
