Robin Rizzini, trained designer, after a few experiences in Milan design offices, joined the design team of Antonio Citterio with whom he collaborated for five years, from 2000 to 2005. In 2005 he opened his own studio in Milan. Its first customer is Keilhauer, a Toronto-based Canadian company, for which he designed the sofa collection 'Dario', which was presented with the 'Silver Prize' during the Neocon 2005 edition and the 'Robin Rizzini for Keilhauer' presented with the 'NeoCon Canada 2007 - Innovation Award'. In 2006, with the project 'Dual', he won the first 'Scavolini Kitchen Workshop'. The same year he works on the Identity of Effegi Brevetti. For MDF Italia he designed the sofa collection 'RR03' and 'MATE' presented in 2007 and 2008 at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. He then joined the MDF Italia team of consultants for communication, working on visual communication and brand identity. In 2011, during the Salone del Mobile, he presented products for Busnelli, Desalto, Lema / IOC, Poliform and Zanotta, designed in collaboration with Bruno Fattorini. In 2012 he developed new products for MDF Italia and Extremis. The same year he is also visiting professor at the Scuola Politecnica di Design for the Master classes in Industrial Design. The studio has a strong accent in product research and development and all products were developed in the office in close collaboration with highly specialized suppliers. Working with innovative materials and using materials that are not usually employed in the furniture design field is also a key activity. Interested in fibrous composite / structural materials he studies possible applications in the field of furniture. His profile is very particular, and varies from industrial design expertise, research and product development, visual design all practiced at high levels.
