Ramón Úbeda (Jaen, 1962) is - as Tusquets would say - an architect by training, a journalist by profession and a designer by vocation. He has been the editor-in-chief of De Diseño and Ardi magazines, has contributed to the most important national and international publications, has published numerous books and organised various exhibitions. At the same time, he has developed his broad professional activity as a designer, both graphic and industrial, working for companies such as Rapsel, Metalarte, ABR and Mosaics Martí, although he feels most comfortable in his role as an art director, working within companies. He began collaborating with Bd Barcelona in 1997 as a graphic artist and since 2001 he has also been responsible for all the furniture designs produced by the publishing house. He is also head of image and production at ArtQuitect, an adviser to Metalarte and has been collaborating with Camper since 2006. Furthermore, he has worked on multiple projects with some of today's world leading designers: Ross Lovegrove, the Campana brothers, Alfredo Häberli, Jaime Hayón and Konstantin Grcic.
