As the Managing Partner, Rajiv Narain is the principal designer at Rajiv Narain & Partners Architects, During the course of his 25 year’s of practice, Rajiv has undertaken over 80 design projects across a range of diverse sectors encompassing corporate, institutional, healthcare, hospitality, residential and recreational. His belief in “Experience Design”, “Sense of Place” and “Total Design” has assisted in crafting a unique set of design environments.

Earlier this year Rajiv was invited by the President of India’s Secretariat to author a chapter on the ‘architecture and landscape’ of the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi, designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, for a series being published on this iconic structure.

As an Advisor to the Delhi Urban Arts Commission, Rajiv authored an urban revitalization proposal for the sensitive Lutyens Bungalow Zone in New Delhi and was instrumental in drafting a new set of design and conservation guidelines for this area. He has contributed articles on architectural criticism to leading architectural journals and has lectured extensively.

Rajiv graduated from the School of Architecture CEPT Ahmedabad India, and the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, achieving the distinction of topping all his design studios. Rajiv’s research thesis was selected for inclusion in the US Library of Congress and was part of a limited edition publication by the School of Architecture CEPT Ahmedabad. During his formative years as an architect, he was actively involved with academics and served as faculty at the TVB School of Habitat Studies New Delhi.
