villa K in Slovenia | Robert Klun

Individual house is located in rural -urban part of Medvode Slovenija. Because of its position we tried to find best views and functionality for each member and each room inside- outside the villa. Position makes the house autonomous and recognizable. The house is different than the other housing structure. Inner spaces are opened mainly to the north and south, which determined the location of entrance, bedroom on the northern, and living room on the southern side of the house. Despite of its diversity the house "goes" with terrain and simulates living with nature. Also uper floor is completely made out of "our knowledge" about best micro-clima inside the house. walls are made out of wood, celulose and wooden- natural materials. Facades are designed from perspective of its users and proportions of the vila. A lot of energy, effort we put also in designing openess, lightning of inner spaces. The lightning is supplemented with glass »crack«, which defines the "K" house. The crack goes from ground floor to the roof construction and it gives light to the open space gallery which provides sun light to the other rooms. Entrance with the wardrobe leads UP to the living and privat platform, kitchen with a dinning table to the living room, the living room is connected to the outside terrace and lawn.
