The Honorary Consulate and the office NSBO represent Netherlands in Barcelona. Prestige and representativeness are the right words to describe a so-called command. It is a small project but with a great responsibility. In this design has been chosen for an informal space, a simple scheme, cool atmosphere, and of course the symbolic tulips.

The most important feature of this design is transparency. Given the small size of the spaces, they have been subdivided in a diaphanous way. The somewhat informal character is insinuated through translucent vinyl of a field of tulips, representative of the country. It has been used on glass at suitable sites for office partitioning. The atmosphere radiates serenity achieved by being monochromatic, white color was used as predominant. To regulate intense natural light, as well as support for a satisfying sound insulation, curtains of absorbent fibers have been used. The customer service desk meets the bulletproof required protective demands. The laminate flooring is a high resistance type considering the large public attendance at the office. The furniture that divides the workspace from the service areas is a multifunction piece, all in one, library-archive-telephone-photocopiers-kitchenette.
