The Abacus Occasional Tables are inspired by the iconic Chinese abacus, an ancient calculating device. The ornate, asymmetric imagery of the legs is designed to imitate the movement of the abacus, and to complement a functional smooth modern surface. The design can be flat packed for ease of storage and transportation. In making this design Mona has also created a flexible jig, to improve the manufacturing process for turning the asymmetric legs. Colour gloss top with wood turned legs Dimension 50d x 61 cm
