One of the oldest automobile factory of Turin (1906) is facing a serious risk of demolition. Given the fact that the buildings and structures are in perfect state, the project aims to explore and demonstrate how the block occupied by the factory can open itself to the city. Minor buildings are demolished to create a square and a little park, two elements which are missing in such a very densely populated neighbourhood. Indoor spaces are preserved in their original character and reused as civic/cultural center and flexible living/working modules.
