[EN] - Poliform Lab: the new creative hub dedicated exclusively to the company’s entire communications activity. Conceived as an idea center, the village-like structure offers a unique creative contamination between marketing, showroom design, visual merchandising, photography and web design activity. The convergence in one space encourages anunprecedented exchange of ideas and influence between departments. It has also created the largest, most cohesive window into the world of Poliform, allowing employees, clients, architects, and re-sellers alike a crystal clear vision of this venerable furniture brand. Designed by Carlo Colombo, Poliform Lab is the seventh of Poliform’s structures in its home base of Brianza, Italy. The building has been created according to the company’s strict principles regarding ambience: not only is the structure in complete harmony with its surroundings, but it has also been designed to be energetically self-sufficient. Solar powered panels provide nearly the entire power source for the building, underscoring a commitment to sustainability. Set over an enormous 13.500 square meters, the space was conceived to prioritize creativity and dialogue, and to encourage diverse inspirations and shared solutions. The wide-open plan and clear glass dividersallow for increased communications between departments, creating an effortless meeting point between interior designers, stylists, marketing managers and web designer, and a free exchange of ideas. The massive 3,300 square meter showroom design by Project Department Poliform, which serves as the anchor of all activity, is based on the same open plan logic. The space has been devised as a rotating window of product and solution offerings that is constantly updated to reflect changing collections. Poliform Cafè is the best place to conclude the visit to the showroom: the exclusive restaurant where the experience of taste adds a new dimension to the philosophy of Poliform Lab. The largest showroom of Poliform in the world, the large space affords an ideal opportunity for styling, graphic and architectural experimentation. It is designed to be solutions-oriented space, and also provides a contract division dedicated to the largest international suppliers and a logistics unit. Divided by proposed room set-ups and thematic technical areas, the showroom allows for a complete exploration of Poliform’s bookcases to the wardrobes, from the beds to the kitchens Varenna: a collection in the name of versatility to meet the uniqueness of each home. With its laboratory philosophy, Poliform Lab is an ideal meeting place not only for the company’s diverse departments, but also for architects, resellers, and anyone who wants to learn more about the company. This new hub allows for the effortless convergence of ideas and a provides a cohesive global picture of the company.
