Known also as Seoul Development Institute, this research facility host a team of 250 people, 80 of them having PhD, having expertise in diverse specialties with mission to establish long-term vision for Seoul Urban environment and related policies. In 2008, PARAFE was solicited to propose various solutions to renovate the main lobby, some women resting area and other areas. The main concept was to translate the polycentric urban structure of Seoul in the inner space.of the main lobby. The design strategy was to create different spaces having different identities in reference to the diversity of districts in Seoul and allowing various meeting places.
