FUTURISTIC URBAN DEVELOPMENT (PARADIGM OF HIGH CITY) MANORA KHI PAK DESIGNED BY: arch five Innovators “Much of yesterday’s fiction is now reality and much of today’s fiction may be the reality of future...” I am trying to give new innovative possibilities to live in this beautiful frontier world. Possibilities for the future world and its related problems. To design future is not easy because everyone see the future from his own perspective. In this project I design the future urban space on the logic and reasons. Design Concept: “To weave the different layers & zones” The idea is to blend different, geometrical, physical, cultural and other forcing elements to generate an architectural language, on urban scale. I am designing a vertical city which is not accepted in terms of psychological issue. People percept about vertical city as a vertical building in which people think that they are bound and these building does not have the essence of culture. But in futuristic urban development people will not be bound because they live in tubes which have multi opening and connections with other tubes and in these tubes floors are not segregated because they have a physical and visual connection between them. Tubes will be longitude rather than vertical. The structure of tubes will be modular and it can be plugged in or plugged off according to the requirements. These modules will be made up of carbon Nano tube truss. The entire load will be transferred by these trusses to earth. Truss will wrap up with steel and ETFE sheets. Inside the tubes all the floors and houses have been made up of lightweight materials which will not be load bearable.
