Waterfront Djuraševići

Đuraševići is a tourist settlement within municipality of Tivat in the northern part of Montenegrin coast. We designed 6km long Lungomare that covers the area of 6,0Ha. Lungomare goes through some of the most beautiful parts of Boka Bay, and what we were trying to do trough this project was to highlight existing natural and cultural heritage, to recognize values of traditional ambient and to interpret them in contemporary way. We designed simple walking path, that respects natural terrain while going trough green areas, that goes from one to another existing pier in next zone, treats these existing built structures as given value, not as a problem, then goes along the street, then over rocky shore...this really heterogenic Walking path was indeed a professional challenge that we were pleased to work on. This project covered design of the walking path, beaches, piers and viewpoints along Đuraševići waterfront.
