The developed tool on the previous project was useful in terms of having an overview at a macro and a micro scale of a current city’s state, in my case Bradford. Unfortunately, upon visiting Bradford myself I discovered a dominance of the car over the individual and a highly concentrated Central area where people would ‘’pass through rather than stay’’. Therefore I decided to develop an interstice that would work throughout the city, through various scale, orientation, permutation and performance in order to ‘’rise’’ Bradford’s overall value, making it more attractive for stakeholders and at the same time cherishable for its community.
