Residential - Business Facility

Combination of architectonic elements of primary plastic, their mutual interfusion, application of various types of apertures produced a complex and dynamic volume composition. The elements of secondary plastic are used to differentiate interfusing parallel façade panels. Systematization of the building in rational and functional terms, supported by „international style“ ideas is present in formation. The building represents a „neutral“ of a kind, which, through unassertiveness but on the other hand with its singularity easily fits into the existing city core. The entrance to the shop is specially accentuated by a canopy and appropriate portals, inserted between the massive walls. By retraction of the façade plane of the attic, the designer team avoided a mansard roof on the façade and classic roof eyebrows, and obtained a large roof terrace. The design for this facility obtained the award in the category architectonic designs at the Triennal of architecture in 2006.
