a pavilion that travels to four different hubs in central London, to host events for the London Festival of Architecture. Eleven petals arch to create shelter beneath, gathered at the centre around which a stage is set. Visitors enter the pavilion between the petals from every direction, the spaces increasing in size around the structure. Rain falls with the curves of the petals and is gathered by the central flue to the void inside the columns.
Sunlight makes the petals glow. Lights rising from the central stalk illuminate the pavilion. At each hub the stacked petals arrive, unfurl, and are erected creating an architectural event.
