Hotel Gut Brandlhof | Thurner Generalplanung

Situated in the Alps, the Gut Brandlhof Hotel is a resort with the charm and typical Austrian hospitality, which over the years and after successive ampliations has developed as an ideal site for congress and events in a unique landscape. As a modern exhibition venue the „event-O“ building culminates this development providing facilities for exhibitions, product presentations, and conferences all packed in a eyecatching architecture. The two-story building has a transparent event hall in the ground floor, defined through its oval form. The generous facade glazing panels integrates the activities within with the surrounding nature landscape. Upstairs the design includes conference rooms surrounded with a balcony shaded with a facade crafted with rust steel panels. The panels with it’s characteristical geometrical pattern define the shape of the building from the outside. From the inside, the balcony offers the landscape as a fragmented puzzle, giving a surprising view of the surrounding mountains. The attention of the visitor pinpoints the views like pictures at an exhibition, and the balcony becomes a nature gallery.
