The house has a very rich historical background back from the XVI century. It mostly served as residential building as well as the former book and manufacture store in 1928-1943, wine cellar, bakery and stable in XIX century and earlier. Now the house belongs for one family for more than one hundred years.

The house is on heritage list of Lithuania, as it is one of the few buildings who had baroque pediment left. The pediment ant attic were destroyed during the fires in the end of XIX century.

The building is now being restored and the pediment is rebuild with reference to historical, architectural, structural and polychromy studies. The new residential function for attic-story is added.

Restoration of this building and curved pediment enriches the old town of Kėdainiai.
