It has been designed to get enough natural light while it deals with climate conditions in winter as in summer. Due to big windows heat facilities powered by sun energy has been designed for winter. Big shadow fabrics, used as boat sails had been chosen for summer's sun light protection.
This last choice must be seen integrated with the horizontal composition of the building and the white awnings as boat sails.
The exterior decks are made of black and white portuguese pavement with a waving design.
