Above first floor level, the building is nothing more than a light roof suspended over the two pools. From the entrance lobby, the view of the two pools and the sports hall is immediate. Visitors, who enter at the highest level of the public seating, are met with a view of the sporting pool below with the leisure pool to its right. Spectators can watch competitions from either side of the sporting pool. Conceived of as two squares fused into one, although each with its own individual atmosphere, the leisure area and the sporting area are, nonetheless, fully integrated visually, spatially and functionally. program: an olympic swimming pool (25 x 50 m), a leisure swimming pool(25 x 12,5 m) an health club, a bar, a restaurant, retails. client: Serm total surface area: 15.000 m2
