The formal genesis of the building starts by the analysis of the genius loci: first of all the block shape with the courtyard it referes to the traditional form of the roman house, other that for important bioclimatic aspects. So its rectangular form is positioned in the central of the first part of the garden, aligning the elevations to the sides of the site. To realize a second floor the block it is been lifted changing with it the level of the garden, forming like a sort of classical acropoli. This stereometric composition it is been involved through bioclimatic aspects, with the turning of the courtyard along the equi-solar axis and with the sculpting of the roof in accordance with the shadows and the photovoltaic considerations. Furthermore the model so obtained it is been cutted along the visual canal that starts from the main entrance to the Monte Mario mountain and its Observatory.
